For the love and the affections I entertain for M.J. Hembree I do hereby give transfer and convey to her my tract of land in White County Tennessee District No. 4 and bounded as follows: Beginning on a hickory corner Masons north east corner, running with his line west 55 poles to a rock in J. ? Masons line, thence with J.? Mason's north 58 poles to a rock, in the line of the same, thence East with his line 55 poles to a stake in his line, thence south with Thomas McClures line 58 poles to the beginning, containing 12 acres more or less.
To have and hold the same to the said M.J. Hembree living her life, and at her death the title of said land shall be invested in the following persons herein mentioned to wit, E. M. Hutching, formerly E.M. Hembree, Y.C. Hembree, Annaliza McCormick, formerly Annaliza Hembree, J.L. Hembree, Elizabeth Mosley, formerly Elizabeth Hembree, I covenant with the about persons mentioned that I am lawfully sized of said land, have a good right to give and convey it and that same is unencumbered, and I do hereby defend the title of said land against all lawful claims of all persons.-- Vitalis Hembree
State of Tennessee-Stewart County-Personally appeared before me W.S. Vinson a Notary Public in and for the said county of Steward the within named Vitalis Hembree the bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within named instrument for the purposes therein contained, witness W. S. Vinson a Notary Public in and for said county of Stewart at office this 24 day of May 1921, my term of office expires April 14, 1924.--W.S. For and in consideration of the sum of Five Thousand and NO/100 ($5,000.00) Dollars, cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, we Howard Hembree, Maude E. Hembree, Johnnie B. Measles, Katie J. Van Hoozer, John Wesley Hembree, Fred Hembree, J., and Betty Jane (Hembree) Crowley, being all heirs of John Hembree, deceased, have this day bargained and sold, and do hereby transfer and convey unto Richard Roberts and wife, Ann (Hembree) Roberts, their successors and assigns, certain real estate located in the Third Civil District of White County, Tennessee, described as follows:
Beginning on a high cut black oak stump, the western corner of Dodson property in Howard Hembree's line, running generally West with Hembree's line 600 feet to James Moore's corner in the same Hembree line; thence generally North with James Moore's line 210 feet to Dunn's corner in said James Moore's line; thence generally East again 600 feet and continuing to Dodson's line, passing through Dunn's southeast corner; thence approximately 280 feet southwesterly with Dodson's line to the beginning. Included in this conveyance also is a right-of-way 16 feet in width running parallel with Dodson's line and Dunn's line, separating the two, generally northeast to a public road, containing three (3) acres, more or less.
Being the same property conveyed to John Hembree by warranty deed from L.O. Dodson, et ux., of record in Deed book 75, Page 167, in the Register's Office for White County, Tennessee. The grantors herein acquired said property through intestate succession from John Hembree, deceased.
This deed prepared on information furnished by Richard Roberts.
To have and to hold said real estate, with the appurtenances, estate, title and interest belonging to the said grantees, their successors and assigns forever. We covenant that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said real estate in fee simple have a good right to convey it, and that the same is unencumbered.

In 3rd Dist. , waters of Main Caney Fork. Beginning at 2 black oaks on the side of a mountain, Wm. Nevill's SW corner; thence E. with his line, 160 poles to 3 hickories in Lowery's line: thence S. with same 142 poles to a post oak and hickory; thence W. 44 poles to 2 post oaks; thence N. 26 poles to a post oak, David Thompson's corner; with his line, N. 70 W 56 poles to 2 black oaks, Thompson's corner, with another of his lines, N. 49 W 82 poles to 2 post oaks on the side of a mountain; thence N. to the beginning.

This land was then apparently sold to George Keesee in 1819.
This indenture made and entered into this sixteenth day of October eighteen hundred and nineteen, between James Hembree of the county of White and state of Tennessee of the one part and George Keesee of the same county and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to the said Hembree in hand paid by the said Keesee, the receipt whereof is acknowledged, hath bargained and sold unto the said Keesee a certain tract of land containing one hundred acres lying in the said county of White, including there said Keesee now lives, granted by the state of Tennessee to said Hembree on the eighteenth day of May 1814 by No. 5579, bounded as followeth: Beginning at two black oaks on the side of a mountain, William Nevilles south west corner, running East with his line one hundred and sixty poles to three hickories in Lowery's line, thence south with the same one hundred and forty two poles to post oak and hickory, thence west forty four poles to two post oaks, thence north seventy degrees west fifty six poles to two black oaks Thompson's corner thence with another of his lines north forty nine degrees west eighty two Poles to two post oaks on the side of a mountain thence north to the beginning. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land with its appurtenances to the proper use and behoof of him and the said Keesee his heirs and assigns forever and the said Hembree for himself his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the title to him the said Keesee his heirs and assigns or oany person claiming under him the said James Hembere but it si expressly understood that if said land should be lost or taken by a older or better title the said Hembree agrees to refund said money in proportion to that part so coast or taken by older or better title. In testimony where of I have here unto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
